We were charged with developing a new name and brand when three orchestras – The Pasadena Symphony, The Pasadena POPS, and The Pasadena Youth Symphony – joined to become one organization. The new name we fashioned, The Orchestras of Pasadena, and a new logo reflected the unique qualities of each orchestra in concert season brochures, advertisements and the new umbrella web site we created for the organization. It may seem an obvious choice now but there was much emotion and no shortage of politics to be considered.
